Who we are
SkillSpout LLC is an Ohio limited liability company at 26300 Cedar Road, Suite 1105, Beachwood, OH 44122. We provide AI training, strategy, implementation and advisory services to organizations.
This policy explains what we collect when you use skillspout.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form, take our AI readiness assessment, book a call, or email us, we collect what you enter. That typically means your name, work email, company name, job role, and whatever you tell us about your organization.
Our AI readiness assessment also collects your answers to its questions — things like your company size, industry, which tools you use, and what you're trying to improve. We use those answers to generate your results and to understand what would help you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect some information about your visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how long you stay. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.
What we don't collect. We don't ask for or want sensitive personal information — health data, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or similar. Please don't send it to us.

- To understand which parts of our site are useful and which aren't

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make the site work, and to understand how it's used.
HubSpot. We use HubSpot for our customer records, our forms, and website analytics. HubSpot sets cookies that recognize you across visits and connect your activity to your contact record if you've given us your details. HubSpot's privacy notice: hubspot.com/data-privacy/gdpr
Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google's font service. Google does not set a cookie for this, but your browser does contact Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information. Google's practices: policies.google.com/privacy
Embedded video. One page on our site embeds a video hosted on Google Drive. If you visit that page, Google may set or read cookies within the embedded player.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with:
- Service providers who run things for us — our CRM and email platform (HubSpot), our website host, our scheduling tool, and our payment processor where you buy something from us. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
- Our payment processor. If you purchase a course or event through our site, payment is handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
- Anyone we're legally required to share it with — if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where your information goes
We're based in the United States and our service providers are primarily US-based. If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws differ from your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for as long as the law requires. Contact records are kept while a relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
Email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. One reply asking to be removed also works.
Access, correction and deletion. Email hello@skillspout.com and ask. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent where we relied on it. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Our lawful bases for processing are: your consent (for marketing email), our legitimate interests (running and improving our business), and performance of a contract (where we're working together).
If you're in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and working with established providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email hello@skillspout.com and we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the last revision. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
